Long time, no see...

There has been a long time since I updted this blog, and it will probably be a little while until my next update with pictures of painted minis.

Since my last update, my father has been terminally ill with cancer, so I spent my afternoons and weekends with him visiting him in the hospitals he was admitted to.
On August 8th, while I was away with the school band I was conducting, to visit Legoland, hold concerts and buy some more stuff for the Lego blog (as mentioned in the last post), my father drew his last beath and died in his sleep.
It was weird to walk arround in an amusement park trying to look happy when I was all sad inside. But no one in the travel company got to know about it until we were back at the motel where we stayed, and then I only told those who needed to know in case I had to leave.

After I got home, most of my time has gone to emptying my parents house, where nothing (except for clothes) has been removed after my mom died in 2009. And we also found a lot of stuff from my Grandmother while we were emptying the house. Then we started to renovate it. The appartment in the basement has been done by ourselves and we have a team of professionals fixing up the main appartment.

So I haven't had much time to work on my miniatures, this year. At the moment all my Warhammer stuff is packed down in boxes, but I hope to move in to the new house in the middle of May, and then I wil set up a new hobby room. For the first time I will share room with my wife who is into scrapbooking, and I think that will be good.

I will post updates as the hobby room gets created, at the moment it is just full of boxes with stuff that is going everywhere else in the house.
